Watch this 70 year old Grandma freaking out driving an autopiloted Tesla for the first time. You cannot help but laugh. I would be exactly the same as her.
It is not natural to sit there and watch the car drive itself! Seriously I think self driving cars are going to be a problem someday. I know all the car companies are so excited for this, but in reality there is a lot of things that can go very wrong with this idea. They already did a great episode of “The Good Wife” in an episode named “Driven: addressing just one thing that could easily happen. The car crashes into another car, and seriously injuries a lady. She is suing the company.
They say it could not of happened, and eventually they find out the car was hacked as a prank, and the driver could not regain control so it slammed into the other car. That is a real scenario that could happen.

Majorities of voters said they found it unacceptable for a rider in a driverless car to text or email, read, watch movies or TV, be drunk or sleep. The same patterns between male and female voters and voters of varying age groups came up in these responses as well. Women are much less likely than men to approve of any activity other than watching the road in a self-driving car.
There have been many articles about people already abusing the auto pilot feature in these Google, Tesla and Audi self drive cars.
The possibilities for abuse stagger the mind if you ask me. We already have all seen how stupid people can be with their new toys and cars on the road.

The woman’s son, Bill Rimmer, can be heard laughing as he records his mom’s reaction after he activated the autopilot on his new electric powered Tesla Model S.
She screams: “This is so scary! Oh Jesus, this is my first day out and I am about the die!”
What she doesn’t know is that she can override the autopilot at any time by either taking the wheel or pressing the brake.
